Malaga is
the nearest airport to Marbella. The rental
apartment at La Reserva De Marbella can be reached
by the Motorway in 30 minutes. There are
many airlines in the UK which provide very cheap
flights to Malaga, Spain.
You can
book the cheap flights online through Easyjet and MyTravel
Lite to name just 2 of the many
low cost airlines to be found online. Flights
to and from Malaga can cost from a little as
£30.

Car
Hire
Car rental in Spain is the
cheapest in Europe and more visitors rent cars
here than in any other European country. Companies
such as Hertz, Avis and Budget have offices at
Malaga airport as well as in towns and it is
possible to book your car in advance for
collection on arrival. There is allocated
underground parking available at the rental
apartment.
Taxis
Cabs are readily available outside
the airport terminal building and in all towns at
designated taxi ranks. All drivers are now obliged
to carry a book of fares to and from all
destinations the services are reasonably priced.
Drivers are helpful and patient, many speak
excellent English. To avoid pronunciation slip-ups
you might wish to put the full address of your
destination in writing on a piece of paper and
hand this to the driver.
Buses
Marbella’s
bus station is in the northern area of the
town. It is possible to take the bus for a
cost of approximately 4€ from Malaga Airport to
Marbella Bus Station. This journey takes
approximately 45 minutes. You need to transfer
to the 220 Service bus which then takes you to
La Reserva De Marbella. This costs approximately
1.50€. This stage of the journey is about 30
minutes. A total of 5.50€ approximately per
person with a 1 hour 15 minute transfer time!! Coaches
